Redwood City, CA — With Friday's 32-29 win versus the visiting Westmoor Rams, the Sequoia Varsity Girls split the season series with Westmoor and are tied for 1st in the PAL Ocean Division. Sequoia had another connected defensive effort, forcing Westmoor into 19 turnovers and finishing nearly 80% of possessions with a defensive rebound. Junior Jada Crockett had a well-rounded scoring night, finishing with 4 field goals, 6 rebounds, and 2 assists. A quartet of Senior forwards Mikayla Gee, Jenna Sichlinger, Josie Ollmann, and Grace Johnson wrecked havoc with a combined 15 deflections, 12 steals, 16 rebounds, and 3 blocks.
