West Bend, WI — Paige Guse's two-run double in the bottom of the fifth inning ended the game with the Spartans improving to 6-1 overall and in North Shore Conference play. Maiya Tearney scattered six hits to notch the victory. Mackenzie Rolf's RBI single put West up 1-0 in the first inning. The Spartans tallied six times in the third. Rolf plated the first run with a double, Allie Estrada had an RBI single and Lindsay Sandleback had a two-run single in the frame. Morgan Stortz singled with one out in the bottom of the fifth. Riley Weber walked and Sandleback singled to load the bases. Ava Thelen drew a walk to plate Stortz and Guse followed with her double.
