Mountaineers hold off the Patriots of North Warrren to secure victory

Blairstown, NJ — The Mountaineers built up a 13-2 lead midway thru the 3rd quarter when the Patriots began their ferocious comeback against the young Mountaineer reserves. The Patriots, although outmatched at the varsity level , were able to make it a compeititve game ending in a 14-11 victory for the Mountaineers. The Mountaineers gained valuable varsity experience for thier young players which will go along way towards building the program.

Remy once again led the Mountaineers to victory with a 6 goal 3 assist game. Remy was a force all over the field as he not only scored at will he was also able to get his teamates involved with his pin point passing and vocalization of commands.

Jake Watkinson

Usually when you score 4 goals it is a great game, but when your teammate scores 6 it is up to you to step up your game. Jake came to play as he was not only able to score 4 goals, he was also able to step up and secure our victory with his time consuming possessions that enabled us to hold on for a 14-11 victory. Jake looks to continue with his scoring today against Newark Eastside as the Mountaineers look for their third consecutive victory.
