Fountain Valley, CA — 2nd straight win for our young team. Baron Coach Nine asked to play an all doubles match, which helped us both out due to large numbers on both teams. All JSerra team members got to play 2 full sets this afternoon. The trio sharing line #1 doubles went 3 for 3. Jack Straub, Leo Merage and Niko Abraham each won 2 sets played for 100% and MVP status. Good job guys. Omar Ali, Zach Moncur and Nicholas Benham won 3 straight sets on court #2 sweeping that line as well. Congrats on earning MVP status and winning all of your assigned sets today. The trio sharing line # 6 duties also won all 3 sets, 2 each. Anson Albertson, Robbie Schweitzer and Robert Watson joined the 100% club and were also MVP’s for the day. Santiago Jimenez and Stirling McLaughlin picked up a win at line # 3 in the tough top half of the draw. Line #4 and #5 dubs also picked up 1 of 3 sets played, so we were not shut out at any line level today. Micah Verburg and Gianni Rossetti won a tie-breaker in the first round; while Brayden Castro and Jason Do won easily in round #3. Well done guys.
