San Juan Capistrano, CA — Another lopsided victory, however, this match is good for the program because varsity got some good competition in singles this afternoon. JV Coach Amy had some pretty good athletes, guys who didn’t give up and played hard to the end; we simply were too tough for the Dolphins. Singles swept all 9 sets: Enzo, Johnny, Thomas, Robert and Luke. Doubles shared courts as triplets with each player getting in twice. 2 trios won all 3 sets: HB, Kayden, Jacob and Michael, Alex G, Sam. Competition gets tougher next week vs Tesoro and San Juan Hills, both strong programs every year. All JV practice tomorrow, some of you are playing Saturday at Marina High School in the annual Pete Brown Tournament. Have fun!
