KOach asked for a big opening act, got it, 5 -1 in round one, but the boys one-upped that with a 6 - 0 closing act! Sandwiched in between was a 4-2 second round. Connor and Mike G. played a lengthy 7-6 [7-4] round one, defeating Servite's #1 team; the Friars moved their top player into doubles, but, this team was only able to win one set. Servite's other top player remained in singles and Brady was the only Lion who was able to beat him in a tight 6 - 4 batlle, breaking his serve in the final game. Doubles teams took 8 sets, MIke/Connor, Cade/Charlie, Mikey/Alex while singles players, Brady, Emilio and Cole picked up 7.
