Fullerton, CA — Historically, the Fullerton tennis Center has not been good to us, but, today we got a little love from her. With our #1 player, Riley Anson at the Easter Bowl, the rest of the team picked up the slack, specifically our doubles duos. Connor/Mike, Cade/Alex, and Mikey/Charlie swept ALL 9 sets played; Hudson came in, in relief in the 3rd round and played great. Singles sets were picked up by Emilio and Cole vs line 3, while Brady picked up 2 sets. Brady dropped his opener at line #2, made quick work of #3, then promptly fell behind 0-3 to the best Friar. Saving the best for last, Brady fought back with 5 straight games before getting into a tiebreaker and reeled off 6 of the last 7 points for a 7-3 breaker win! This was an amazing win on a day that Brady wasn't competing his best in. The Pride travels back up the 57 to OLu wednesday as we begin the 2nd round of home/away Trinity League play before Easter break. Go Lions!!!
