Westborough, MA — Wachusett hosted North Middlesex in its annual Senior Night Game. The Mountaineers honored 8 senior players and 5 senior managers in their pre-game ceremony. After a scoreless first period, sophomore Caden Lane would put Wachusett up 1-0 at the 2:13 mark of the 2nd on a goal assisted by Nick Brousseau and Ryan Flaherty. North Middlesex would score the next two goals of the period to take a 2-1 lead heading into the 3rd. Just over halfway through the period, sophomore Ryan Flaherty would tie the game at 2 on a goal assisted by linemates Lane and Jason Flaherty. With under 2 minutes to play, Jason Flaherty would score the game winner and the assist would go to Ryan Flaherty. Kevin Shaw played solid in net stopping 24 of the 26 shots he faced.
