Hazleton, PA — From the Standard Speaker - Six Lady Cougars scored at least six points in their Wyoming Valley Conference Division 1 rout of visiting Tunkhannock. Kaitlyn Bindas led Hazleton Area’s second consecutive 79-point barrage with 19 points. Olivia Williams and Sophia Shults each flipped in nine; Alexis Reimold had eight and Jayla Eberts and Sophia Benyo both hooped six points. Laurianna Alston led the Lady Tigers with 11 points. Hazleton Area will compete in the Carl Truance Holiday Tournament, starting today in Punxsutawney. The Lady Cougars will face Redbank Valley and Marion Center will take on Punxsutawney in the semifinals.
