Huntington Beach, CA — Foothill met Mountain View for the first time in the HBHS Turf Tournament and came away with a decisive victory. Tyler Valdez had 2 goals and 2 assists, Kevin Ambrocio had 2 goals and 1 assist, Matthew Mendoza and Connor Castelan each had a goal and Quinn Frye and Lucas Regan each had an assist. Foothill went up 2-0 but allowed Mountain View back into the game by giving up 2 goals in the 22nd and 31st minutes off of a couple of defensive errors. Foothill went ahead just before the half on Castelan's goal delivered by Regan's header back across the box. The Knights never looked back and scored 3 more as an exclamation point on the victory.
