Hurley, VA — The Lady Panthers held on to defeat Hurley 41 to 39 in BDD action on the road Tuesday night. The Lady Panthers squandered a 15 point lead as the Lady Rebels made a fierce comeback led by Jayda Stacy and Emily Mullins in the fourth quarter. The Lady Panthers were led by Kiarra Gross (14 points) and Cheyanna Davis (12 points) with Gross hitting a clutch free throw late in the game to put the Panthers up by 2. The Lady Panthers improve to 12-6 on the season with the win and 2-2 in the BDD. The win now sets up a big BDD matchup with Council this Friday at the Cobra Den, the winner will slide into the #2 spot in the BDD standings with a win.
