Laguna Hills, CA — The JSerra Crimson JV team comes out with a big OT win over Trabuco. Great effort on defense from the start as they had the Mustangs a bit frustrated on offense in the first half. As the Lions led by 6 mid way through the 4th quarter, the Mustangs rallied back after hitting two big threes. The resilient Lions though would not go down without fighting back. Tying the game in regulation as clock expired with a mid range jumper from guard Will Alvarez. Once in OT, the Lions locked down on defense once again and never looked back as forward Dylan Varenchik made a huge three while being fouled to give the Lions the lead for good. Guard Liam Wight lead all scorers with 17 pts. Outstanding defense from the entire squad was the key to victory tonight.
