Lincolnshire, IL — The Zee-Bees put up a valiant fight but fell to the Patriots in the bottom on the 7th on Monday. Andrew Mitchell threw 6 and 1/3 innings only allowing 1 earned run while striking out 4. The Bees were led offensively by Rafael Villalobos Jr. and Jack Marabella who each collected 2 hits on the day. Dom Diliberti and Sammy Villarreal also contributed to the Zee-Bees offensive effort. AJ Neargarder scored the Bees sole run courtesy running for Diliberti. The Bees return to action Tuesday facing Stevenson at home at 4:45 pm.
