Zion, IL — The Zee-Bees defeated the Waukegan Bulldogs 10-1 on Monday. The Bees got on the board in the bottom of the firs tinning after two errors plated 3 runs. Jack Marabella then added to the scoring with a sacrifice fly to right field, scoring Mikey Gonzalez. The Zee-Bees added to their total in the second when Brayden Duran grounded into a Fielder's choice, scoring AJ Neargarder. The Bees would add runs 2 runs in the 4th and 5th innings Jack Marabella and Mikey Gonzalez would add RBI's in the 4th and Dominic Diliberti would add one in the 5th. The Bee's would score their final run in the bottom of the 6th when Kaden Oatsvall singled up the middle, scoring Andrew Mitchell. Andrew Mitchell earned the win for the Zee-Bees. The righty allowed no hits and one run over 5 and 2/3rd's innings, striking out 9 and walking 6. Sam Villarreal pitched 1 and 1/3 innings of scoreless relief for the Bees. He surrendered 2 hits, striking out 1 and walking 1. The Zee-Bees amassed 10 hits in the game. Dominic Diliberti and Brayden Duran were a force together at the top of the lineup each collecting two hits. Mikey Gonzalez drove the middle of the lineup, leading the Bees with 3 RBI's. The Zee-Bees also had 8 walks, led by Andrew Mitchell and Dominic Diliberti. The Zee-Bee's next game is against Waukegan at the Battle at Bowen!
