Zion, IL — The Zee-Bees won dramatically, with a 2-1 home walk-off victory over Grayslake North. The game was tied 1-1 going into the bottom of the seventh when Sam Villarreal singled, scoring one run. Damien Cruz-Alcalan got the victory for the Bees. The righty allowed no hits and no runs over three innings, striking out three and walking none. Jake Mitchell led things off on the hell for the Zee Bees. He gave up one hit and one run over four innings, striking out 10 and walking none. Sam Villarreal also led the team with two hits in three at-bats, with John Bass and Aaden Grider contributing hits for the Zee Bees. The Frosh/Soph team returns to action tomorrow to face the Wauconda Bulldogs and wraps up the week facing Niles North on Friday.
