Massillon, OH — The Lady Bears earned a big Federal League win over previously undefeated Lake, with a final score of 47-40. The bears move to 4-0 in the league and 5-1 overall!! The bears battled from the start and ended the first quarter tied at 11-11. They went into the half up 24-15 and extended their lead to 38-22 after three quarters. The bears held off a blue streak run in the fourth to secure a 47-40 win! Megan Campbell led the way with 20 points, 5 rebounds, 4 steals! Ashley Lahmers had a huge defensive effort, scoring 8 points and grabbing 10 rebounds. Maddie Lepley added 7 points/5 rebounds! Ashley Helle had 6 points on two huge threes in the third quarter. Elena Rowley added 4 points and Lexi Pizor 2 points! Emily Rofe had 4 assists and 3 rebounds! The bears are back in action on Friday vs GlenOak at home. We play at 5:30pm before the boys game and will honor our first District Championship Team (2015) directly after our game. Go bears!!
