Santa Ana, CA — Laguna Beach Breakers Varsity defeated Godinez 11-0 on Friday as three pitchers combined to throw a shutout. Cutter Clawson struck out Garcia to finish off the game. Laguna Beach Breakers Varsity secured the victory thanks to seven runs in the fourth inning. Laguna Beach Breakers Varsity big bats were led by Michael Kerner, Grady Morgan, Jared Angus, Sawyer Chesley, and Jack Loechner, who all drove in runs. Laguna Beach Breakers Varsity opened up scoring in the second inning. Loechner drove in one when he singled. Laguna Beach Breakers Varsity scored seven runs in the fourth inning. Kerner, Morgan, Angus, Chesley, and Loechner each drove in runs during the inning. A single by Martinez in the sixth inning was a positive for Godinez.
