Craryville, NY — In a closely contested Section IX Class A Finals game, Pine Bush faced a heartbreaking 2-1 loss to Kingston. Meaghan Wishinski helped PB strike first with a powerful goal in the second quarter. Kingston answered shortly after to tie the game before the half. The score remained tied until 2 minutes and 24 seconds left in regulation when Kingston managed to break the tie with a crucial goal. Grace Grant tallied 18 saves in goal throughout the game. Pine Bush can hold their heads high, as they fought relentlessly and showed heart and hustle on the field. Although they fell short, the team’s effort and spirit throughout the game were truly commendable.
