The teams played on Newport's home course at Mesa Linda in Costa Mesa, California. Newport emerged victorious with a final score of 210 to 253. The co-medalist honors went to Newport Harbor's dynamic duo, Malia and Hazel Cottriel, who produced a breathtaking display of precision and skill. Both golfers shot an extraordinary three-under-par (-3) score of 32. Their performance set the tone for Newport Harbor's victory. While Newport Harbor grabbed the win, Laguna Beach High School put up a commendable fight. The overall low scorer for Laguna was Glory Belland, who navigated the course with determination, shooting 45.
