Sherman Oaks, CA — Coming off a tough loss to Redondo last week, the Eagles took the field against Notre Dame (Sherman Oaks) today and came out looking for that victory. Morgan Wood topped the stat book with four goals, two assists, five draw controls, and four caused turnovers. Jamie Christian, Sam Nilsson and Sabrina Sullivan all contributed two goals each. Goalies Arianna Rendon and Beth Stephens had six saves each. Highlights included a few critical double teams resulting in caused turnovers, as well as beautiful passing sequences to transition the ball to our attacking half, starting from the clear. Defense was quick on the crash and worked together to keep Notre Dame at bay. The Eagles are looking forward to taking on the Knights again next week to show them they ain't seen nothing yet!
