Shawnee Mission, KS — The boys traveled to Miege to play the 7 straight State Champions. This year shows you that the teams in 1A-4A can beat each other on any given day. We had a few mistakes against Miege and they capitalized on them. The boys created some chances against Miege but once again we were not able to put them in the back of the net. We continue to work on finishing at practice and i am really hoping that we are able to figure it out and find confidence in our finishing ability. We came out flat against Miege and it stayed with us throughout the game. Jackson had some crucial saves for us and Lachlan McRae was great in the back for us. Jameson created some more chances but wasn't able to get them in the back of the net. When this Sophomore starts putting these chances in the back of the net, you better watch out because he is going to be the scariest forward in the state. Andrea and Gavin were good in the midfield and are starting to find a good combination between each other.
