Danbury, CT — The 8th seeded 14U Timberwolves stormed past the Jades 10-3 in the first round of the Hatter's Tournament single elimination round. Izzy Burgos, Victoria Dobrydney and Camilla Torres combined to go 8 for 9 to lead the offensive attack with Burgos and Dobrydney each with 3 hits apiece. Burgos also scored 3 runs and stole a base. The Timberwolves walked 9 times including 2 each for Lyla Del Rossi, Mackenzie Jacobs, Nuala Matthews and Adisyn Magliocco. Del Rossi was tremendous on the mound, going 3 innings, allowing just 4 hits and 3 runs. Avery Kipperman came on to shut the door and struck out 2. The T-Wolves put the game away in the top of the 4th with a 5-run inning in advancing to the Quarterfinals.
