Walled Lake, MI — The Lady Warriors of Walled Lake Western fought hard all night long. The Warriors went into halftime down by 11. In the third quarter, the Lady Warriors turned up the heat outscouring the Knights coming within 3 baskets from tying the game. However, the Lady Warriors ran out of steam in the last 3 minutes of the fourth and could not pull any closer than 3 baskets. The Lady Warriors of Walled Lake Western, put in a valiant effort, with a never give up attitude, demonstrating who they are and that they will be a team to beat, again each game living by that model of "a turtle race". The Warriors were led in scoring by Makenna Krznik with 20 points. Moreover, the Warriors were 58% from the free throw line, which was a vast improvement from game one.
