Ventura, CA — The Buena Freshman Bulldogs opened with an exciting play from scrimmage as running back Jayden Hodgins dashed down the sideline for a quick six. Kicker Dylan Ragazzo added the PAT. Linebackers Gabe Lopez and Jon Cesario lead the defense, but the San Marcos squad was able to put up 27 points which proved too much for the Bulldogs. QB Ryder Bucy got the ball in the hands of Chris Slate, Jayden Hodgins, and Isaiah Coert on the final drive with Slate ultimately scoring on a nice run with good blocks provided by the O-line.
