Ionia, MI — Ionia was able to gain its forth win of the season in very poor weather conditions. Ionia got an early stop after St. Johns drove the ball down to the five. Travis Tucker Jr. then scored on the next play on a 95 yards run. Tristian Ciganick converted the two point play to make it 8-0. The scored remained until the 3rd quarter when St. Johns got a safety to make it 8-2. Both teams struggled to move the ball as conditions worsened. Ionia got a score very late to put the game away at 16-2. Spencer Tooker led Ionia's defense with 12 tackles and Wolton Sandborn added two sacks. Ionia travels to Lakewood for the regular season finale on Friday.
