Huntington Beach, CA — Pretty good outing for only having 8 days of workouts and challenge matches. If we played strength vs strength, JSerra comes out a winner more than likely. But we took 26 girls and everyone got to play today! We picked up 5 sets in singles, with wins posted by: Hailey Klein, Alma Bayat, Alex Marsh, Kate Layk and GG Fernandez. Well done! 2 sets were won in doubles: Arina Wagner with Maddy Valente in the opening round of play and, playing in their first ever high school set, kudos to Gianna Gancar and Flo Michaels at line 1 doubles in the final round. Congratulations ladies…. Best take-away of the afternoon: 2 of their 11th graders complimented you ladies as being very nice to play against and good sports. That you for playing with grace and humility. No practice tomorrow for Varsity and JV.
