By Far! Rosary, who is exiting the Trinity League played us tough in the last round, but, the damage had been done with the Lions capturing the match by the end of round 2, up 11 - 1. This allowed KOach to insert all the '24 'graduates' into round, 3, tow of them rotated in at beginning of round 2. "We had 12 seniors we honored today, Victoria was out of class late and unfortunately did not get into picture above. She was an integral part of our CIF championship team '21-22, but was unable to play last year and all of this year. I was sooo glad she was able to participate today! And she picked up a victory with Julia Harkins in round 2." Jazmine/Ellie, Naomi, Neeka, Scarlett/Kylie won 2 of 2 sets played. Sofia Stewart/Natalia, Julia/Victoria, and Kendall/Sydney were perfect in their 1 of 1 played.Sophia Staff added the additional singles set, narrowly missing out on a 2nd set, narrowly losing a tough tiebreaker. As of this writing, we are not still sure about tiebreaker match with OLu or time or place. I believe there will be a match, it should be a coin flip for home/away; match would most likely be Friday 2:30 either place. This would be to determine 3rd/4th place these are what at stake; 1] You must come in at least 3rd place to be eligible to go to CIF playoffs and 2] You must have won at least 50% of your matches to be eligible to go to CIF Our goal is to beat OLu and knock them out of CIF which I would REALLY LOVE TO DO.
