Lake Forest, CA — Most of our normal starters played once today, giving others a chance to play a bit more before opening Trinity League play next week vs Orange Lutheran. Thank you parent drivers for helping out, we were able to take 15 players and get all of them into the match. Ellie Gregor-Orr with Aerin Fraize, Jazmine Aftabi with sister Bella, Scarlett Vukich (singles) and Natalia Gitibin (singles) all got opening round wins, putting JSerra up 4-2 in early going. Bella stayed in and got 1 more win with Colette Chang. Hailey Klein filled in and got 2 solid wins at line 1 singles. Sophia Staff and Sophia Stewart got back to back doubles wins in rounds 2 & 3. Neeka Barkhordar filled in for Kylie Fraize picking up 1 win in singles. And Olivia Nowlan and Julia Harkins got a solid win in the 3rd round for our 10th set victory, giving us the go ahead match win. Next up: Squads S & B at Aliso Niguel, Tuesday, Sept. 12th. 2:30pm.
