Dunmore Varsity Football

Performance

There is no doubt in my mind Dom is the most underrated player on this football team because he does everything we ask him to do. He carried four times for a total of 39 yards (9.7 average yards per carry) with a touchdown, which came on s 16-yard scamper down the right sideline with 1:38 remaining in the first quarter to extend the Bucks’ lead to 14-6.

CO-MVP

He also rushed 2 times for 10 yards (5.0 average yards per carry) with a touchdown, a two-yard quarterback sneak which occurred with 4:08 remaining in the second quarter.

Nick Tullio
Nick has been a solid center for us all season long and I thought it would be cool to give him a shout out for all of his hard work and effort that he has given to us these last four years. He had a season-high three pancake blocks in his final regular season game of his high school football career against West Scranton on Friday night.

Bryce Talutto
Bryce has been a mainstay on the offensive line for the last three years and he continues to improve week after week. With that being said, he picked up three pancake blocks along with his senior teammate Rogan Dougherty (who had a team-high four pancake blocks) on the right side of the offensive line. He also made two tackles defensively on his Senior Night respectively.

Nathan Reuther
For the second consecutive week, the Reuther brothers (Brayden and Nathan) played excellent football on both sides of the ball. Brayden made two tackles defensively and scored the final touchdown of the night for us on a 2-yard run up the left side of the offensive line with two seconds remaining in the third quarter. Nathan collected 5.5 tackles, which tied for a team-high in total tackles with Nick Donvito, also recorded two pancake blocks for us. He is the soul and heart of this football team.
