Jackson, NJ — Jackson Memorial seized victory in dramatic walk-off fashion, thanks to a walk-off double at the end of the game to topple Colts Neck in the quarterfinal round of the Shore Conference Tournament. The game was tied at three with Jackson batting in the bottom of the ninth when Dominique Lopez doubled on a 1-2 count, scoring one run. In the first inning, the Jaguars got their offense started when Sophia LoPiccolo singled on a 2-1 count, scoring one run. Colts Neck knotted the game up at three in the top of the fifth inning. Angela Sasso hit a solo homer. Memorial tallied ten hits in the game. Lopez, Julia Cruz, and Brianna Halasnik each managed multiple hits for Memorial. Lopez went 3-for-5 at the plate to lead Jackson Memorial Jaguars Varsity in hits.
