Jackson, NJ — Jackson Memorial Softball took home a 7-3 victory over Toms River East in the 2nd round of the SCT. The Jags got things started in the first inning when Emily Hersh drove in Dominique Lopez with an RBI single. Jags pulled away for good with three runs in the fourth inning. In the fourth Gianna Vollaro doubled, Nina Striano singled, and Dominique Lopez doubled each with an RBI. Jackson Memorial launched two home runs on the day. Sophia LoPiccolo went deep in the fifth inning. Lopez had a long ball in the sixth inning. Lopez led the Jags with two hits in four at bats, with a double and a home run and 2 RBI's to earn today's Game Ball.
