Toms River, NJ — Jackson Memorial sailed to an easy victory over Toms River South 14-0. In the first inning, the Jags got their offense started when Sophia Lopiccolo hit an RBI single. The Jags followed that up scoring 4 runs in the 1st inning. Memorial put up five runs in the fourth inning with the offense in the inning led by Lexa Santos, Gianna Vollaro, Brianna Halasnik, and Riley Robinson, who all drove in runs. The Jags tallied three home runs on the day. Sophia LoPiccolo went for the long ball in the fifth inning. Dominique Lopez went deep in the second inning. Santos had a homer in the fourth inning. Jackson Memorial totaled 17 hits in the game. Grace Touroonjian, Vollaro, Nina Striano, Santos, Halasnik, and LoPiccolo all managed multiple hits for Jackson. Vollaro and Touroonjian all had three hits to lead the Jags.
