Reading, PA — The Exeter 31-10 lose is a difficult pill to swallow, but one we can learn from. Offensively, we were able to move the ball up and down the field, however, when you have two opportunities inside the 5 yard line and don't convert to touchdowns, your not going to win games. We were able to run our offense well, but did not execute when it counted both times down on the goal line. We will work on and correct the mistakes that were made in both of those two situations! Defensively, we struggled stopping Exeter both on the edge and in the air. Again, we did not execute our coverages or our play up front. Many times we were in position to make the stop, but we did not execute it. Again, things we can work on and get better at. In the end, we are BETTER than a 31-10 lose to Exeter! That bitter taste will last and take a long time to get rid of. We are now focused on one-week at a time and coming out against Muhlenberg and executing our play in all facets of the game against them.
