Shillington, PA — Congratulations goes out to the seniors and leaders of this team. This 28-21 win against a very tough Carlisle team exemplifies the atmosphere that this team has developed both on and off the team. We've worked really hard since last year to bring these kids together and to believe in each other and it showed Friday night. For the majority of the game, we were fully in control. However, three Carlisle plays totaling 255 yards and resulting in 21 points, tied them up with us. The Mifflin players never folded or gave up. They tightened up their chin-straps and got after it. The defense came up big with stops and the offense marched down the field to score the winning Touchdown. I am SO PROUD of these kids and the coaches on this staff! This game is a turning point for us! It showed what kind of character we are made of and the potential this team has moving forward. Coach Lang
