Glendale, WI — In another wild contest against Nicolet, our girls turned the tables from a disappointing loss last week to stage a comeback win in the 7th inning. After a 5 run first inning by the Knights, solid defense led by the Miller sisters held them to just one run over the next 6 innings. Although Port hitters put the ball in play (0 strikeouts for the game), it wasn't until the 7th inning when the bats came alive, pushing across 4 pressure-packed runs. Savanna Miller had 3 hits, Emily Pujanauski 2 , while Sierra, Hope, Shelby, Claudia, Maggie, and Paige chimed in with one each. We are on road at 4.15p against Cedarburg tomorrow.
