Zion, IL — A walk-off single propelled the Bess to a decisive, dramatic victory over Lake Zurich 8-7. The Zee-Bees came back in the bottom of the 7th inning, scoring 5 runs to earn the victory. Michael Gonzalez singled on the first pitch of his second at-bat of the inning to drive in the winning run. Sammy Villarreal was credited with the victory in the game, allowing no hits and 1 run over three and third innings, striking out 5. Michael Gonzalez started the game for the Bees going three and two-thirds innings, allowing three earned runs while striking out 6 batters. He also went 2 for 4 at the plate leading the team in hits and RBIs.
