Costa Mesa, CA — In a Sunset cross-conference varsity golf match, the teams from Laguna Beach High School and Edison High School faced off on Monday, April 24, 2023, at the Los Lagos golf course at Costa Mesa Country Club. Both teams displayed great skill and determination, but it was Edison High School that emerged victorious with a score of 198, while Laguna Beach High School posted a team score of 239. Russell Franconi-Krychman was the standout player for Laguna Beach High School, shooting a team-low score of 42. His solid performance helped keep his team's hopes alive but ultimately proved to be insufficient to secure a victory against the formidable Edison team.
