Whitehall, PA — Easton Area Rovers JV lost the lead late in a 6-5 defeat to Whitehall on Saturday. The game was tied at five with Whitehall batting in the bottom of the fifth when Whitehall scored the go-ahead run on a ground out. The JV Rovers got things started in the top of the first inning. Easton JV scored one run on a Cole Ordway RBI single. Zach Mattes led things off on the mound for Easton Area Rovers JV. The bulldog went three and two-thirds innings, allowing two runs on six hits and striking out three. Braden White and Chase Kinney entered the game as relief, throwing one and two-thirds innings and two-thirds of an inning respectively. Rowan Galiotto, Nolan Fuller, Quinn Campbell, Khamryn Singto, Ordway, Chase Shollenberger, and Harol Rodriguez each managed one hit to lead Easton Area Rovers JV. Whitehall collected 12 hits on the day in the victory.
