Lake Zurich, IL — The Zee Bees got things moving in the second inning, when Aaden Grider hit into a fielder's choice, scoring one run. But the Bees were unable to hold the lead when Lake Zurich put 5 runs on the board in the bottom of third. Andrew Mitchell started for the Zee Bees. The righty lasted two and a third innings, allowing one hit and one run while striking out four. John Bass led Zion Benton Freshman Zee Bees with three hits in three at bats. Adrian Gonzalez had a hit and drove in 2 runs as well. The Bees return to action on 4/12 to face the Mustangs of Mundelein.
