Darien, CT — The Vikings beat Darien, an always tough FCIAC opponent, in a back and forth battle by a score of 11-8. Senior Eric Osterhus picked up the win throwing six strong innings (6H, 2ER, 8K, 2BB). For the offense, four Vikings combined for 10 of the 11 hits. Kieran Hackett (2H, 1RBI, 1R), John Sanchez (3H, 1RBI, 2R), Jorge Hitlin (3H - 2B, 1RBI, 1R) and Armando Quito (2H, 2RBI, 1R) provided the much needed offensive spark. The Vikings improve to 1-1 in FCIAC play. Next game is Wednesday night, 7PM @ Cubeta, vs the Senators of Brien McMahon.
