Laguna Beach, CA — The junior varsity golf teams from Laguna Beach high school and Newport Harbor high school faced off last Thursday afternoon at Ben Browns' golf course at The Ranch in Laguna Beach, California. Newport came away victorious with a final score of 192 to Laguna Beach's 232. Leading the way for Laguna were freshmen James Schroeder and Andrew Tyson, who both shot a team-low score of 44. However, it was not enough to overcome Newport's strong showing on the day. Other scores for the Breakers included Pedro Pinera (47), Trent Beason (47), Sasha Riahi (50), Teddy Hacket (52), Lachlan Soloff (53), and Nicholas Jensen (54).
