Costa Mesa, CA — On Monday 3/20, Ranen Seeck, Chase Tyson, Russell Franconi-Krychman, and Davis Dix represented Laguna in the Estancia Golf Tournament on the Los Lagos course at Costa Mesa Country Club. We played 18 holes and used a Stableford scoring system, where players accumulate points for scores of par, birdie, eagle, double eagle, or a hole-in-one. It's a fun format that promotes aggressive play. It was a wet and cold day, so the course played long. But, the greens were soft and receptive, so the players were able to take aim at the pins, as the ball stopped quickly. Russell lead the way with a score of 82. Chase shot 91. Ranen and Davis both shot 94.
