Jimmy was right, as the match was even at 6 sets each after round 2 and wasn’t decided until the last point of the last doubles match with MVPs Gary Davidson and Connor Faul. Gary and Connor played exceptional doubles today sweeping 3 sets, 6-4, 6-0, 6-2. Brady Schaefgen, our other MVP, swept in singles 6-4, 6-4, 6-1, while Zach took two singles sets. The M and M’s were looking at a quick exit having dropped their opening set 0-6. They put that first round bagel in the rear view mirror passing line one 6-4, then blowing by team 3, 6-1 in the 3rd picking up 2 quick sets after a slow start. We need Mikey and Marco to get off the starting line a little faster. KOach Kirk's 5 singles + 5 doubles wins formula worked today, the math was just a little bit different...
