Alhambra, CA — The SPHS Varsity Tigers got on the board in the 1st inning scoring 3 runs with Natalie Kan leading the game off with a double. The Tigers scored another 2 runs in the 2nd inning capped by a double to left by Daphne Malatesta. The Alhambra Varsity Moors got 2 back in the bottom of the 3rd inning, but single runs in teh 4th and 5th by the Tigers proved too much for the Moors to overcome. Natalie Kan took the win for the Tigers. The lefty surrendered 3 runs on 7 hits over 7 innings, striking out 5.
