Vanden Vikings Varsity opened up scoring in the first inning, when Cody Buckley doubled on a 2-1 count, scoring one run. Vanden Vikings Varsity put up three runs in the fourth inning. Vanden Vikings Varsity's big inning was driven by a sac fly by Buckley and a double by Austin Hammerschmidt. Brayden Bruno took the win for Vanden Vikings Varsity. The righty allowed five hits and three runs over three innings, striking out five and walking one.
