Rancho Santa Margarita, CA — Saturday the 4th, Frosh/Soph traveled to SM on a cold day but, warmed up to the competition quickly. Leo started fast, right where he left off Friday, with a win over SM's line 1 player... He added another to that total with a great come-from-behind tibreaker round 3 win! Alex and Santiago had a great victory over SM's top duo a 9-7 tiebreaker decision. Niko was the sweeper today with all 3 sets won, giving up only 2 total games in 3 sets!. William and Cruz lost a heartbreaker in the opening round, 4-6, which could have tilted either way... KOach Kirk was very happy with the singles play, but, notes that "we need to shore up our doubles play on ALL 3 levels, varsity, jv and frosh soph, in order to finish strong this year." GO Lions!
