Nampa, ID — Nothing came easy for the Hawks on Friday, as the fell 17-5 to the Wolves. The Hawks got things started in the first inning, when Marae Halloway hit a solo homer. Then two batters later Mako Caringella hit a two run dinger to put the Hawks up 3-0. The Wolves pulled away in the second inning scoring six. The Hawks were not able to over come the Wolves lead. Marae Halloway was in the pitching circle for the Hawks. She lasted three and two-thirds innings, allowing 11 hits and 11 runs while striking out three. Mako Caringella threw one and one-third inning out of the bullpen. The Lady Hawks go on the road early tomorrow to play in a tournament in the Tri-Cities.
