Downey, CA — In the last game of round-robin play in the Adelanto Tournament, the Tigers came up short against the Warren Bears, but there was plenty to be excited about in this hard-fought match. Nolan Adams had another stellar six-inning outing, keeping the Bears off balance and striking out four. Jason Yipp, batting leadoff, had two infield hits. Quinn Sterling provided some fireworks in the seventh inning with his massive 300+ foot solo shot over the fence in left center. It was his first homer of the season, and the team looks forward to many more. The Adelanto Tournament continues Wednesday, February 22 with an away game starting at 3:00 p.m.
