Santa Fe Springs, CA — The Chiefs opened up league play with a 3-1 victory over La Serna. Santa Fe opened the scoring through Jayme Valdez with a nice goal in the lower left corner. After La Serna equalized, the Chiefs responded as Miguel Vargas was in the right place to score on a rebound and then Valdez scored the third with an outstanding shot from distance to finish off the game.
