Newnan, GA — While we fell short on the scoreboard, our girls won at being good humans. With the loss of Ralyx falling on this date one year ago, we wanted to give back to everyone that surrounded us during the time following her loss. Northgate recently lost a student and are navigating the grief we still are today with losing Ralyx. AnnaKayte Hawkins took it upon herself to create everyone on their team, and ours, ribbons that represent both their student, and Ralyx. It was a bittersweet moment and put into perspective how sometimes, most times, sports are about more than the game.
